SOLIDWORKS API Licensing Changes: What You Should Know
SOLIDWORKS has introduced updates to its Solution Partner Program that affect software providers who integrate with the SOLIDWORKS platform through approved APIs. These changes replace a single partnership fee with an annual cost to QBuild for every user of every customer where our solution connects to the SOLIDWORKS API.
As a long-time SOLIDWORKS Gold partner, QBuild is aligning with these program requirements to maintain our certified partner status and continue delivering seamless SOLIDWORKS connectivity.
As a result, you may see adjustments to licensing and subscription costs associated with SOLIDWORKS-connected solutions. These charges reflect what is required to recoup QBuild’s incurred costs. You should not experience any changes to the functionality of the software.
Our commitment remains unchanged:
- Continue investing in product innovation
- Deliver seamless SOLIDWORKS-to-ERP connectivity
- Provide exceptional customer support
- Help manufacturers improve engineering and operational efficiency
We’ll continue communicating any future licensing and product updates well in advance and will work closely with customers to ensure a smooth transition.
